A quick peek in Scandinavia Countries at “travel reviews”

 

For those guys that are wondering if Copenhagen, Stockholm and Helsinki are worth visiting, I would definitely recommend them to you.  Not only because you’re going to find the nicest and most gentle people, but also great culture, places and attractions to enjoy.  I found the history in Scandinavia countries is fascinating.

Stockholm is built on 14 islands, is a compact city.  The old town, Gamla Stan, is a warren of narrow streets with 750 years of history.  The National City Park is a short walk from the inner city.  You defiantly have to go to the Vasa Museum (Vasamuseet) with its war ships and Viking history, another great Stockholm destination is the Skansen Oper-Air Museum.

The modern, cosmopolitan Helsinki sits on the brink of the Baltic.  You will find out how this city will leave you impress with its modern architecture and cutting edge design city’s façade.  Don’t forget to buy the Helsinki card which allows unlimited travel by bus, ferry and metro.  There are great attractions to visit, the Suomenlinna Castle, the historic village of Seurasaari and the Church in the Rock.

A great way to enjoy Stockholm and Helsinki at the same time is to go on a boat for as little as £15 per night per person for an ensuite cabine.  It’s an overnight cruise ship that leaves at around 17.00 and arrives the next day at 09.00 - then back with another overnight crossing. It’s good for students, 20’s - 30’s, families, everyone! The disco is pretty cheesy but I do recommend the spa.
