The very thought of heading for a topless beach gives many people the shakes. For others, it’s a natural occurrence and a natural consideration. If you’re comfortable in your own skin, they argue, why not head out in just that skin?

There are a variety of things to consider when choosing a nude beach. Many experts say location is one factor, as you probably want some measure of privacy (and most topless beaches offer this). Other factors to consider are the age range of people who visit the beach (you’ll likely want to be with a group around your own age) and other factors that really have to do more with your own comfort level.

If you are considering heading to a topless beach, why not head for the best? Here’s a list of the top 5 topless beaches, as chosen by the Travel Channel.

1.) Montalivet, France. This area is called the international birthplace of the naturalist movement. At this beach resort, you can camp (most popular) or stay in one of the 172 bungalows. This is a family resort, so if it’s in your comfort level to include the kids, you won’t be the only ones. This resort features a wide variety of classes that range from soccer to yoga and everything includes the whole family. This gives new meaning to the term ‘au naturel’!

2.) Ocho Rios, Jamaica. Famous for its many beach resorts, this area of Jamaica also includes the Couples Resort, which is an excellent start for new nudists. The resort itself it not a nudist resort, but there’s a beach just offshore that’s for nudists. Featuring a pristine beach, private cozy nooks all around, and a cabana bar, this island is private and safe, making newbies feel comfortable in their newly-exposed skin.

3.) Wreck Island, British Columbia. This 4-mile stretch of beach is so named because a huge wrecked sea vessel once inhabited the sand. At this friendly beach, you can enjoy the nesting area of the bald eagles, while knowing that civilization is just a few steps away (the University of British Columbia is just a few hundred steps above the beach). One of the most lively parts of this beach is Vendor’s Row, where you can shop (in the nude) for souvenirs, handmade items, and other goodies (including sunscreen, which you’ll need in abundance).

4.) Samurai Beach, Australia. Located in Port Stephens, this beach backs up to the clothing-optional Bardot’s resort. At the beach, you can enjoy nude volleyball, Frisbee, and tug of war. This is the spot of the famous Nude Olympics, which are held each year. Events include Nude Surfing, Nude Beach Girl and Guy Competition, and Nude Torch Relay.

5.) Hedonism II, Jamaica. Yes, laid-back Jamaica can claim 2 of the top 5 nude beaches. At this clothing-optional resort, expect a good party. There’s nude swimming, sunbathing and volleyball, as well as what the resort calls a ‘lush garden of playful passion’. Designed for playful couples and singles, the resort features a big party scene, lots of lush and delicious food, and a nude good time all around.

Private Jet Rental - Not Just for the Rich and Famous

Private Jet

If you really want to consider the cost of private jet rentals against the utility and the service that you get, you should do so in relative terms. You might not be able to gauge this in absolute terms, because it will be utterly difficult for you to come to any conclusion about the advantages that private jet hire option provides to you.

One of the most fundamental factors for business is time. Managers and personnel do not want to waste or spend time doing things that can be eliminated if some proper planning or means are established. Competition is often felt in marketing and sales, but time remains the top priority of upper management. Let us consider this factor in some detail.

Scheduled aviation has many security checks and long check-in lines - which waste a lot of time. You must hire taxis for ground transportation and also opt for hotel booking - which demands considerable time and money. Scheduled aviation also tires you with its limited space - which is allotted to a particular traveler.

In contrast, if we consider private jet rentals, there is no need to go through multiple security checks, standing in long luggage check-in lines, and wasting your time in finding ground transportation. Private jet hire companies often provide assistance for hotel booking, if you need it, and also have collaborations with major taxi rental companies.

There is no question of limited space, as the whole aircraft belongs to you, and you can choose to rest, make plans, or work during your flight. Moreover, you can return to your departure point the same day if you choose, as you are the only one who has to schedule the flights, and there are absolutely no constraints other than the technical or environmental factors.

But you might wish to hire private jets for other purposes also - such as taking vacations with your family members. Note that this is the best flight that you could ever offer to your loved ones. You have privacy, security, space, and more. The joy of your vacation starts right from the moment you enter the aircraft. Again, scheduled aviation often tires you, and you have to waste one day at least, to get back to your normal body strength once your reach your destination. However, private jet rentals make it faster and easier. You save a lot of time and energy - and can give your family a real treat.

No wonder that all these options provided by private jet rentals do not come cheaply. They have a cost - and sometimes it appears to be sky high.

Nevertheless, if you balance the cost with the advantages, you may easily decide to go for private jet hire services and enjoy your journey.

Steak Lover?

May 16, 2008

restaurant guide restaurant guideIf you are one of those who really enjoy a delicious steak, Sullivan’s Steakhouse is the place to go.  There are 17 locations throughout the U.S, but it certainly does not feel like a chain restaurant, I have been to the one in Austin and Houston, they are both great.

From the minute you walk in the door you will feel the atmosphere is cozy and wonderful.  We started the evening in the bar, with a couple sexy martinis and nice light jazz piano music, if the bar is crowded is usually skip the bar and have the martini at my table.

We found the staff attentive and professional.  For appetizer we ordered escargots, which were to die for, fantastic’s.  After that we had the house salad, a very fresh lettuce wedge with excellent crumbled blue cheese and tomatoes, it was great.  The New York steak was very succulent and tasty, I have also tried the prime rib and the Cajun rib eye which are also very good.  For the dessert, we recommend the chocolate soufflé, I think I a weakness for the scent of baked chocolate.

These restaurants have an incredible wine selection. Sullivan’s Steakhouse is a great place for a special occasion or just for dinner out, we are sure you will enjoy it.

Please feel free to post any comment or experience of this restaurant.

Uchi!!

March 27, 2008

UchiThis restaurant serves contemporary American and Japanese cuisine. Like many sushi bars in Japan, Uchi is located in a refurbished old home. The concept of Uchi, is getting people introduce to Japanese food, in using fresh ingredients that are already familiar with, and combining them with unfamiliar to create a delightful taste.  We found it accessible on the customer side where you can eat a sushi roll for $20 dlls or you can spend $800 dlls in a complete meal, the service is first rate, and it also has great drink and wine selection. If you don’t want to order from the menu you can ask the waitress for some suggestions.  I would recommend you to try the “Maguro with Goat cheese” this popular dish made of Slices of tuna combined with chunks of goat cheese and slices of fuji apples with pumpkinseed oil will beat your expectations. For dessert I tried the dark chocolate-almond nougatine, it was delicious.Uchi usually gets full in a short time, we recommend you to make a reservation in advance, and since Uchi doesn’t do reservations past 7:000 pm you might have to chill out a while at bar or outside lounge area.Tyson Cole the owner executive chef will use all his knowledge and techniques to make your dinner at Uchi an amazing experience with great food and artfully presented dishes.

It’s been a few months now since our latest trip. There was no particular reason in choosing Cuba other than taking a break from all the Fast food franchises and famous brand boutiques Read more
