One of the best cancun beach hotels, a handful of styled resorts have popped up in Cancun suites, following Hurricane Wilma in late 2005. The reopening of Aqua cancun inn with its 371 rooms, beat everybody expectation. Aqua hotel cancun is all about relaxation, from the moment you walk in, you experience the tranquil aromatherapy and music that captures you. Guests are able to select from among pillow types as well as aromatherapy oils and candles or you can play in cancun golf.

The location is great, excellent for walking to two shopping centers and restaurants nearby. The rooms have quality amenities and are highly maintained. The pools are well designed in cancun inclusive.

But what really sets this resort apart is its food. Mexico’s premier chef and well known cookbook author Martha Ortiz, elevates tacos to high art at Siete, decorated with mosaics of pop icons like Frida Kahlo. At MB, Michelle Bernstein a Miami top rated chef offers healthy and tasty dishes with Latin and Asian influences, try the filet and macaroni, it was to die for.

Aqua’s signature spa offers a wide variety of therapeutic treatments. The spa will also have a steam room modeled after the ancient Aztec temazcal. Outdoor pilates, and each morning yoga at the beach are some of the activities in cancun family vacations.

The club lounge level, is a good option, great for breath fast and for, midday snacks and evening food services with a good variety.

The Luna y Sol Suites face the sea on one side and the lagoon on the other. If you can, we definitely recommend you to book on of these Suites or look for cancun rentals.

Just remember to have fun because it goes by fast!!!

The restaurant is o.k is not one of the best in Polanco but neither the worst, we recommend you to try the tortilla soup.If you do arrive late to the hotel, while you walk through the sex from Sex and the City, doing the checking you might find the lobby a little noisy, since the lobby bar sometimes gets crowded.

If you are going to Mexico City as a short stop or as a typical business trip, we definitely recommend you to considered W Hotel as an option.
We got a room with a nice view to the Promenade des Anglais.
That evening we went out for Dinner and got back to the room by 10:00 pm. Since we had flown all the way from Mexico, we both went to sleep fast!
At around 2:00 am my husband got up to the bathroom, and found out there were little animals in his shirt! He turned on the lights and we found the bed was infested with these little bugs! There were bugs all over the bed!
My husband called the reception and asked to be changed to another room, they told us there were no rooms available!
After 10 minutes, a guy showed up at the room to confirm what we were saying! He had brought insecticide! What were they thinking that we would sleep in the same room after they used this??
Anyways, after they saw all the bugs suddenly there was a room available for us, and we were moved!
We both took a shower and after checking the room was bug-free, went to bed again!
The next day, I woke up with bug bites all over my neck, arms and hands!! They were very itchy, red, and swollen!
My husband appeared to be ok, but the next day started getting the same reactions!

We went to talk to Bruno (A manager at the Hotel) he offered not to charge us for that one night, and they offered to pay for the medical expenses that could arise.
They called the Hotel Doctor so that I could be sure what my condition was, and confirm that these were harmless bites. The doctor prescribed some medicines and cream, and gave me a shot of cortisone.

We did some research on the web to try to confirm what bugs these were, because the Hotel would not even try to find out what animals they had in their Hotel´s beds! They were bedbugs, and most of the times transmit very dangerous diseases.

The Hotel said they would contact us and so far they have not!! The least we expected is that the Hotel finds out what the animal is!!
We never expected that a 400 euros per night Hotel, with the reputation of Negresco would be managed by such a team of careless and rude managers.

One thing is certain, we are never coming back to that Hotel again. No matter how many free nights they give us!!
A member of “The Leading Hotels of the World”?? Are you kidding?? The pillows are terrible, the sheets are old! etc…
We stayed at the Fairmont In Monaco the next days… that is a Leading Hotel of the World!!!Veronica Malo

San Luis Potosi, Mexico

Mr. T

It’s certainly a terrible experience, Our Traveler Minds has made some research about the cleaning of this Luxury hotel, they found out there has been many other complains about the cleanness of the hotel. We have contact the hotel manager and explained how there has been some readers complaining about the careless employees and the old curtains and carpets they have in some of their rooms. They told us they have been renovating most of the rooms and they were very disappointing for what happened to some of our readers. We are also making the complain with the “The Leading Hotels of the World” group to let them know how is the service at Negresco. We recommend our readers to make a quick search about your hotel destination and find out what other people are saying.

Got a complaint?

The very thought of heading for a topless beach gives many people the shakes. For others, it’s a natural occurrence and a natural consideration. If you’re comfortable in your own skin, they argue, why not head out in just that skin?

There are a variety of things to consider when choosing a nude beach. Many experts say location is one factor, as you probably want some measure of privacy (and most topless beaches offer this). Other factors to consider are the age range of people who visit the beach (you’ll likely want to be with a group around your own age) and other factors that really have to do more with your own comfort level.

If you are considering heading to a topless beach, why not head for the best? Here’s a list of the top 5 topless beaches, as chosen by the Travel Channel.

1.) Montalivet, France. This area is called the international birthplace of the naturalist movement. At this beach resort, you can camp (most popular) or stay in one of the 172 bungalows. This is a family resort, so if it’s in your comfort level to include the kids, you won’t be the only ones. This resort features a wide variety of classes that range from soccer to yoga and everything includes the whole family. This gives new meaning to the term ‘au naturel’!

2.) Ocho Rios, Jamaica. Famous for its many beach resorts, this area of Jamaica also includes the Couples Resort, which is an excellent start for new nudists. The resort itself it not a nudist resort, but there’s a beach just offshore that’s for nudists. Featuring a pristine beach, private cozy nooks all around, and a cabana bar, this island is private and safe, making newbies feel comfortable in their newly-exposed skin.

3.) Wreck Island, British Columbia. This 4-mile stretch of beach is so named because a huge wrecked sea vessel once inhabited the sand. At this friendly beach, you can enjoy the nesting area of the bald eagles, while knowing that civilization is just a few steps away (the University of British Columbia is just a few hundred steps above the beach). One of the most lively parts of this beach is Vendor’s Row, where you can shop (in the nude) for souvenirs, handmade items, and other goodies (including sunscreen, which you’ll need in abundance).

4.) Samurai Beach, Australia. Located in Port Stephens, this beach backs up to the clothing-optional Bardot’s resort. At the beach, you can enjoy nude volleyball, Frisbee, and tug of war. This is the spot of the famous Nude Olympics, which are held each year. Events include Nude Surfing, Nude Beach Girl and Guy Competition, and Nude Torch Relay.

5.) Hedonism II, Jamaica. Yes, laid-back Jamaica can claim 2 of the top 5 nude beaches. At this clothing-optional resort, expect a good party. There’s nude swimming, sunbathing and volleyball, as well as what the resort calls a ‘lush garden of playful passion’. Designed for playful couples and singles, the resort features a big party scene, lots of lush and delicious food, and a nude good time all around.

If Italy has the best pizza in the world and Naples has the best pizza in Italy, then the pinprick on planet Earth representing its pizza heaven is the corner of Via Cesare Sersale and Via P. Colletta in Naples. On my 2004 list of the five best pizzas restaurant in the world, the restaurant on Via Colletta, Trianon, was No. 1. Trianon is an 83-year-old Naples institution(make your reservations) that boasts a prosciutto pizza that tasted like tomatoes off a vine with a rich, doughy crust that could be considered a dessert if it wasn’t connected to such luscious, lean prosciutto. With my travel guide I only went to Trianon that night five years ago beside my itineraries because I could not get into Da Michele, widely considered Naples’ best pizzeria on the next corner. The line out of Da Michele that night was halfway up the Amalfi Coast. After trying it on my recent vacation package stopover from the lovely Italian isle of Ischia, I could see why.It shouldn’t be surprising, however, finding this slice of pizza heaven here. Naples is a vibrant city (travel reviews said)with great markets and beautiful seascapes, get your travel map but it has always been more famous for three things: drivers who view traffic lights as mere street decorations trips, a vicious organized crime family called the Camorra known for the lovely practice of “kneecapping,” and the birthplace of pizza.I didn’t make any car rentals and I passed on Camorra’s high-grade heroin, but I did have lunch. Da Michele is located 10 minutes from the den of chaos also known as the Naples train station(nice station you can book your trips. I walked through Piazza Risorgimento, lined with immigrant street merchants selling every kind of articles from sunglasses to embarrassingly bad costume jewelry discounts.I walked up teeming Corso Umberto where people spoke in the Neapolitan dialect: conversational screaming. Neapolitans discuss everything from a fender bender to Dante’s “Inferno” at the same volume usually accompanying the escape from a burning building. But I saw Neapolitans stand in rapt silence when I passed Trianon hotel and found Da Michele. Standing outside were 30 people from all walks of Neapolitan society - lovers, blogs, businessmen, families - waiting with numbers in their hands. It’s an odd setting for the world’s best pizza. Da Michele restaurant is represented by a simple white and red sign over a single glass door. After only a 10-minute wait, I walked into, if not the best pizza parlor in the world, certainly the most unassuming. Make reservations at Da Michele has only 16 tables in two rooms, all jammed together for a complete lack of privacy. On the wall were various sizes of brass pizza tins and black and white photos of old Naples.I joined a table with an elderly man and a womanfrom New York. I could nearly feel the fire burning from the wood stove where a heavily muscled, long-haired Italian with a Fu Manchu was shoveling pizzas with a big wooden slab. The tiny room smelled of fresh tomatoes and oregano. I suddenly craved pizza like a junkie. The interior is as fancy as the menu, on which every item could be listed on the fringe of a Vatican postage stamp. At Da Michele restaurant, you have two choices of pizza: marinara, consisting of tomato sauce, garlic and oregano, or margherita, also known as Neapolitan, which is mozzarella and tomato sauce. That’s it. The whole ball game. No California-designer tofu special. No four-meat conglomeration at 1,000 calories a slice. It’s marinara or margherita or hop back on the plane to a Domino’s near you. Pizza with no meat and no choice? What’s up with that?A hand-painted placard on the wall explained it in the Neapolitan dialect, which the elderly man at my table translated into Italian for me. He said his father had gone here as a child. Presumably so did his father’s father and his father before that. Da Michele restaurant has occupied this little space since 1870.The story of Da Michele’s menu goes back way before World War I. As the man explained, Da Michele wants to keep pizza affordable for all people and simple enough to appreciate what pizza was meant to be when it was invented in Naples in the 19th century. After all, pizza has remained one of Naples’ four major food groups along with wine, mozzarella and gelato. Why mess with perfection? As a mandolin player buzzed our table, my normale-sized marinara pizza, priced at 3.50 euros (about $4.25), arrived. The foot-wide pizza glistened in a sea of fresh tomato sauce with specks of oregano floating like little spice ships. The pizza was surprisingly wonderful in its simplicity. The sauce reminded me of the tomatoes I ate like apples from my public market in Rome. The crust was classically Neapolitan, slightly doughy with just a hint of burnt around the edges.I tried a slice of margherita and the mozzarella tasted nearly as sweet as the special balls Naples ships every morning to mozzarella bars in Rome, Milan and London. I didn’t miss the meat. My soon-empty pie pan had no grease on it.Did it crack my top five, a list more exclusive than Baseball’s Hall of Fame? Yeah. Did it top my prosciutto pizza at Trianon as No. 1 in the world? Without starting another street war in Naples, I’d say no. I’m a hopeless carnivore. But a return to Naples is a return to pizza’s roots. Da Michele restaurant is as far from Pizza Hut’s stuffed crust super supreme meat-inhaler’s pile-it-on artery-exploding combo pizza as you can get. And well worth the trips.Staff writer John Henderson covers sports and writes about the food he eats on the road. He can be reached at 303-820-1299 or jhenderson@denverpost.com.

Here is a list of the first five most popular honeymoon destinations.

Hawaii:

Lush greenery, sparkling ocean, and spectacular sunsets … say ‘Aloha’ to the honeymoon of your dreams in Hawaii. Oahu is all of Hawaii on one island. It is a place to spark your passion with romantic activities and create your own special Hawaiian memories.

Italy:

Your honeymoon in Italy can be the trip of a lifetime. What better spot is there than Italy, with its romance, magnificent scenery, cities filled with history, and charm to make memories last forever. Enjoy the rolling Tuscan hills, a gondola in Venice, or a Renaissance villa in Florence. Stunning historic properties, the finest foods and wines make it the best. Panoramic lakeside settings, stunning vistas on the Italian Riviera, or the enchanting Tuscan countryside are just some of the possibilities.

Tahiti:

Tahiti is the center of the universe for romance. There is no better place to celebrate your new life together or to commemorate a milestone of your relationship. Each of the many islands of Tahiti is a tiny paradise. Some isles are crowned with jagged peaks soaring magically out of the ocean in an explosion of green velvet, while others appear as if gracefully tossed upon the ocean - barely floating above the breaking waves. Intimate resorts, small peaceful villages, and miles of quiet pristine beaches explain why Tahiti ranks #1 in the world for ‘alone time.’

Anguilla:

Come to Anguilla and experience ‘tranquility wrapped in blue.’ Anguilla’s honeymooners and couples seeking a special, romantic getaway find a small island, gifted with 33 of the best beaches in the Caribbean - some say the world. Stunningly white, powder soft sands meet gentle seas of pristine water colored in vibrant and varied hues of turquoise. Captivating sunsets, gentle breezes, friendly smiles, gracious hospitality, casual elegance, and relaxed informality are just some of the reasons visitors name Anguilla one of the best honeymoon destinations in the world.

Fiji:

Pristine white sand between your toes; warm ocean breezes rustling palm tree fronds overhead; sweet aromas of tropical flowers wafting through the air; distant sounds of drums and harmonious singing; stunning sunsets reflecting off turquoise water. Yes, Fiji is romance. With hundreds of Fiji Islands to visit, there is plenty to see and do on your Fiji honeymoon. Snorkel and scuba dive in some of the world’s most beautiful tropical reefs, kayak along the coastline, or hike through one of the many tropical rain forests, the Fiji Islands have it all!

The top 50 destinations are as follows: Hawaii, Italy, Tahiti, Anguilla, Fiji, St Lucia, Mexico, St Bart’s, Jamaica, France, Bali, Bermuda, South Africa, Costa Rica, Greece, US Virgin Islands, British Virgin Islands, Turks and Caicos, Nevis, Australia, Aruba, New Zealand, Antigua, Barbados, Cook Islands, England, Thailand, Florida, California, Ireland, Kenya, Las Vegas, St Maarten/St Martin, Dominican Republic, Switzerland, Bahamas, Belize, Canada, Cayman Islands, Monaco, Turkey, New York, Spain, Alaska, Chile, India, New England, Portugal, Scotland, and Austria.
